Anrnold China killes her kid
Arnold China killed her baby girl by putting the baby in the microwave. Her cellmate testifies saying she developed a sexual relationship with Arnold China. The cellmate states that Mrs. China felt that her boyfriend did not believe that was there kid so she put in the microwave and left the house. When she returned home she found her the police in the house trying to save the baby. Mrs. China could face the death penalty if she is persecuted for murder. The defendant showed no emotions when she was called up to the stand.
I think that this case is awkward just from reading the facts I think that Mrs. China will get the death penalty for killing her baby. She deserves it for killing her baby.
Today I read about With unemployment hovering near 5 percent and home foreclosures surging, the local economy has probably dipped into “the San Diego equivalent of a recession,” according to an economic index released yesterday by the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego. After two years of slowing, job growth has dropped beneath the rate of population growth and unemployment has hit a four-year high, leading USD economist Alan Gin to conclude that the economy may be in a San Diego-style recession.
Gin expects local companies will hire only 5,000 to 8,000 people this year, compared with 10,700 last year and 17,800 the year before.
“That's not enough jobs, given our natural population growth and aging,” Gin said. “And then there's also slower economic activity, including slower home sales.”
But the local economy still does not match the technical definition of a full-blown recession because there has been not been a year-to-year decline in employment or the gross regional product.
Today Iread about this guy treatening president Bush. the secert service arrested the man along with a package. Then later said the package was no harm. The man was arrested around 2:00 p.m. on pennsylvania Ave.
Today in the union tribune, I read that Hilary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama are locked in a drawn-out war of attrition for the democratic presidential nomination, sure going to be fighting for delegates beyond Tuesday no matter who comes out ahead on the primary season’s biggest day. Neither camp expects that reality to change yesterday’s withdraw of former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards from the race. As the Obama and Clinton campaigns scrambled to pick up Edwards supporters, there was no consensus among analysts on which candidate would have the advantage. Edwards, who made no endorsement yesterday, the strong backing among working class voters who demographically fit into Clinton’s base. But Edwards message that he would take on the entrenched powers in Washington was more in sync with Obama’s campaign themes. On Saturday, Edwards finished a distant third behind Obama and Clinton in south Carolina, driving home that he was the odd man out in a race focused on potential of a women or a black man becoming a nominee.
“Bush calls for economic boost, patient in withdrawing troops”
►What I read today in the newspaper was tat bush its withdrawing troops to boost the economy in the united states. In his final Sate of the Union address, urged the nation last night to persevere against gnawing fears of recession and stay patient with long, grinding war in Iraq. He pressed Congress to quickly pass a plan to rescue the economy. He cautioned against acceleration U.S. troop withdrawals from Iraq, saying that would jeopardize progress achieved over the past year. He said plans are set for 20,000 troops to come home.
►I agree because that's a good way of preventing the recession.
►I agree because the troops are doing nothing on Iraq.
►In the other hand I don’t agree because they are stopping the terrorist to form again.
►I think the most interesting fact its that bush may move the troops back home and they could reunite with their families.
♥ Man Arrested ♥
♥ Friday morning I read a very interesting article related to President George Bush. A man was arrested on Monday for making threats to the president. The man had a suspicious package who the authorities thought was a dangerous. After the man was arrested they opened the packet and found that it was nothing dangerous. The man was taken into custody on Monday January 28, 2008. he got arrested around 2pm on Pennsylvania Avenue near the white house. The man seemed to be uttering threats to the president. He was screaming everything through the north fence of the white house.
♥ My Reflection ♥
♥ I think that what they did to this man is sad. i know that it is wrong and that anything some one says can be taken as a threat. I hope that the man doesn’t get into to much trouble for threatening the president from the fence of his home.
♥ Interesting Fact ♥
♥ An interesting fact that I read in this article was that the packet that the man carried with him was later found not dangerous or threatening.

Article; Mom said baby 'fit right in' microwave
Summary; This morning's blog is based on an article I read in cnn.com. It was about a woman who is accused of killing her baby girl. She is currently in prison and most likely facing the death penalty if she is convicted. It is said that she confessed to the crime while in her cell with her cell mate. The cell mate did not say anything about her to police at first because they were in a relationship but since they are no longer together, she is letting authorities know. The woman is accused of killing her baby in a microwave. She supposedly confessed to her cell mate saying that she fit right in. The reason she said she killed her is because her boyfriend said he was not the father and he wasnt going to take care of it. The case is still going on and if she is convicted, she will most likely face the death penalty.
reflection; I think it's sad that anyone could kill anyone. What makes it worse is that it was her very own baby. I wish I didn't hear about these kind of stories anymore but we live in a crazy world.
Union Tribune: Obama thrashes rivals in S.C.
Today I have read a short article on Barack Obama and how he won a victory against Hilary Clinton in South Carolina. Now he is tied with Hilary Clinton which has also won on two other early voting states. Senator John Edwards a native of South Carolina who was seeking to revive his candidacy finished third but vowed to keep his campaign alive. He has not won on a state so far. Obama finished with 55 percent of the votes, Clinton had 27 and Edwards 18 percent. When Obama took the stage people were chanting that race doesn’t matter. They really like him. People are saying that they are not against Clinton but that Obama is making History. Shortly after the votes closed Clinton flew to Tennessee to hold a campaign rally. Clinton said that she intends to focus on Florida because it has been striped of its democratic convention. I would like for Hilary Clinton to win because she is a woman and she is pretty. I think that right now it is really tough to say who is going to win because they are so tied. If Obama wins that would also be good because I think that we need a drastic change in our government and he will do this for us.
