“Massive Bridge Afoot”
►What I read in the SOURCE of the COMPLEX newspaper today was that it looks like a bridge is extending north from the REGION of Rancho Bernardo about two-thirds of the RELEVANT way across Lake Hodges toward Escondido. Also that the STRUCTURE that has been in the works for years. And it won’t be completed until march 2009. the real bridge will go up just east of the trestle, about 1,00 feet west of where Interstate 15 crosses the lake. It will be the longest bridge of its kind in the world. The temporary trestle providers workers a platform to build the 990-foot-long STRUCTURE's two support columns, at the 330- and 660-foot marks.

The story I read today was about the CIA and some secret tapes that were destroyed. Some officials said that they had hundreds of hours in the tapes recorded of harsh hours of interrogations. The people that were interrogated were believed to be al-Qaeda members. They were saying that all the tapes were destroyed illegally and that they were trying to hide something in the tapes. Neither the judge nor the prosecutors were informed of the tapes that were destroyed.
Recent studies have shown that as new doors are being opened for girls and new opportunities of equality are being given to them there are also other things that they are being exposed to. As more good prospects become accessible for females bad choices also become accessible. In recent studies it has been proven that teenage girls not only equal teenage boys in drinking and using them, but in some cases even surpass them. It is a shock to see what was believed to be the more fragile, delicate and even sensible gender to become involved in things that were once believed to be only for boys. The SOURCES have said that the number of girls entering the juvenile justice system has grown steadily over the past few years. The reason behind the girls rebellion might be more COMPLEX than what we might think. Yet the actions are the same. Girls are behaving in a more irrational manner. This is REVELANT to all of us because this goes to prove that one can either take the bad choices presented to us or the good ones. One will always be presented with choices and it is our personal decision what choice to make, but our mistakes can affect society as a whole.

- US troop reduction not likely this year
- The TEXT that I read today FOCUSES on a really COMPLEX topic. It CONSISTS of the war in Iraq. The defense secretary, Robert Gates, said for the first time yesterday that he supported a pause in US troop reductions in Iraq. It was the most authoritative indication to date that the US will maintain a large force here through 2008 and into the next presidential term. His assertion immediately became an issue for democrats in the presidential campaign, who have made US withdrawal from Iraq a major priority. Sen. Hilary Rodham Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama criticized Gates and reiterated their intention to bring all the troops home at a rapid pace if one of them wins the White House in November. Officials worried about stress on the ground forces had expressed hopes that US troop levels in Iraq could begin dropping toward 100,000 this year.
- I think that this is an interesting article. I agree with the democrats because I think that too many people have suffered.
- One interesting thing that I learned today is that Gen. David Petraeus the senior commander hinted that he would recommend freezing troop levels.
IMMIGRATIon
The TEXT that I read about is SIGNIFICANT because it pertains to people VOCING there opinion about immigration and how in the middle of this century united states will be like California over crowd. This COMPLEX article shows the racism in the united states. REVELENT to this article is the fact that the upcoming presidential elections like Clinton, and Obama support immigration. A source say there will be fewer whites in a state and this means that less people will be in power it will be more minorities running the states.
I think that this article is good because it informs people on were people are going to be doing in the next century. This is a great article.
The article I read today was about how diabetics are RELEVANT to the deaths each year. The TEXT also talked about how a new SOURCE of information has been found. Studies show that most diabetics are told to eat foods that keep your blood pressure low. Doctors took in diabetics to EVALUATE what was the main problem of why some die from heart failure and other problems. The results were so COMPLEX because some physicals were even surprised. More foods have now been brought out that diabetics can eat without raising their blood pressure. A life span is way shorter to a diabetic who eats regular sweets. They are also more likely to have a stroke.
Reflection- I think that it is a good idea that more sweet foods are brought to diabetics, because then they don’t have an excuse to eat the food that’s bad for them. I wonder if the food that was made for them taste any better or worse that regular sweets are. I also wonder if it would AFFECT people who aren't diabetics if they ate the food.
Interesting fact- An interesting fact about this article is that it is good for a diabetics to eat at a specific time.
♥ This morning I EXAMINED an article that was RELATED to the taxes. In this mornings article I read that if a man who is working sends in his taxes, the woman he puts in as his girlfriend or who ever he is supporting, they have to be married by law. They just made this a law. In order to be able to figure out if you INVESTED money on the woman you have to be married to him/her if you want money back. If they both send in their taxes as a married couple they both will get double the filling workload. The state said domestic partners face extra tax filling. The RELEVANT that the state is now requiring for people that are doing their taxes is because a lot of people that actually do their taxes they just write down people that the state doesn’t even know they exist I guess. Starting this tax season its going to be very COMPLEX in your taxes.
♥ I think that the SOURCE of all this sounds complicated. I hope that I learn before I turn 18 how to do my taxes an easy way or something so that I won’t be struggling later in life when I do them. I hope I get through it and I get it.
♥ An interesting fact that I learned in this article was that the state now is considering them to be married couples.

Article; 2 Accused in Chinese Espionage”
Summary; This morning’s blog is base don an article on two Chinese men who are being charged with espionage. One man was posing as a Defense Department analyst and the other man was posing as a former engineer. There was also an incident that took place on the same day involving two immigrants from Chin and Taiwan. But it jus happened to be an accident. The two cases did not have any connection with each other. The arrests mark China’s latest attempt to gain top secret information about U.S. military system. In the first case, prosecutors said weapons systems policy anayst sold classified defense information to Ne Orleans furniture salesman. In return, the salesman, a Taiwan native forwarded the information to Chinese offficials. The data they received from the United States was every outline ever planned U.S.
Reflection; I just hope that we still have time to switch up whatever information they received.

Union Tribune: Suicide blast Israel’s first in a year.
Today I have read an article on Israel’s attack. A Dr. Baruch knelt down to help a man that critically wounded from a suicide bomb, he pulled off his jacket and realized that he had an explosive belt around him. The man was a second attacker, he had been knocked out from the first blast. The first blast yesterday killed one women and wounded eleven other people. This was the first suicide attack inside Israel since January 2007. When the Doctor realized what it was he jumped and began waving at police so they could help. The police started shooting at him until he died because they did not want him to detonate the explosive. The doctor said it was a small gas canister and small plastic bag attached to his body. Israel’s officials think that they entered through the Egyptian border. In Gaza, gunmen fired in the air and relatives of the bombers passed out sweets to celebrate the bombings. I think that it is so sad what is going on in there. I think that our troops should go into Israel and make sure that it is secure.
