♥ The article I read about this morning was about a shooting that happened on the freeway. Two cars were involved in a shooting yesterday on the southbound of interstate 805. The shooting started near the Greenwood Cemetery. Apparently from what one of the guys who got arrested he says that when him and the other guy that was in a the car with him the other car started shooting at them so they shot back. One of the cars was a Lincoln and the other car was a gold Honda Civic. In the Lincoln there was three black men and in the civic there was two Latino men. They TRANSFERRED from San Diego to National City on the freeway shooting at each other. Officers were SEEKING for a black man with a red shirt and short afro inside the Plaza Bonita mall.
♥ I think that the guy that told the officers all the RESOURCE was smart. If the officers would of battled back with the cars who knows what would of happened or how many people would of gotten hurt. But it’s a good thing that it all ended.
♥ An interesting fact that I read in the article was that the gun battle may have been set off by collision.
Today in the union tribune, I read that like me and other four year olds in southern California, Emmanuel Otoo loves to hop around on his skateboard and skate away, laughing all the way. Except he has no forearms and no calves because of a birth defect. So he rides on his stomach. Emmanuel was born in a dusty, sprawling refugee camp in the Kenyan desert. His mother, Christine Otoo, feared that she would be constantly at his side to do whatever he could not do for himself. More than that, she worried that his disabilities and the families life as Ugandan refugees would crush any hope for son to become self sufficient. The bleak prospects changed last because of Walter lam, a Ugandan refugee living in san Diego who made assisting refugees his life’s work. After visiting with the family in the Kenyan refugee camp during the united nations sanctioned camp visit in 2006, lam initiated talks with the U.S. department that led Emmanuel and his family to moving to san Diego last year.
Today the RESOURCE I read in the newspaper was about a woman with two previous DUI convictions said that she wasn’t drunk or high when an off duty officer shot her and her 8-year-old son. She had to pick up her 8-year-old son, she mentioned that she was driving on a suspended license. Since she is divorced from her sons father a marine that was in Iraq at the time, she was the only one that could go pick her son up. The shooting occurred in the parking lot of a Lowe's store in Oceanside. Her son was hit once in the leg and she was hit twice in the arm. Her attorney, filed a claim against the city of San Diego yesterday SEEKING compensation for physical and economic damages, including hospital and medical costs. I think that if it would have happened to me I would be really mad that I would TRANSFER to a different state.

Article; Region Update
Summary; This morning I read the region update. There were a few different stories the Union Tribune administered that I focused on. Such as, inside the Crime Watch section. It was about how a man was accused of stabbing his wife on the trolley. Apparently this all took place in El Cajon, San Diego and while they were on their way to La Mesa. The attack was reported by the trolley security officers to police just before 3 p.m. when the trolley stopped at Grossmont. The lady was treated right away, they say they were minor stabs from a pocket knife. The husband was reported seen hoping back on the trolley and outrunning police. He is still running away from the cops.
Reflection; The main element of this article is how a wife beating criminal is still out on the loose. I hope police conduct a good investigation to get this guy caught.
UGANDAN REFUUGEE AND HIS ORGANIZERS HELP OTHERS...
The article I read today was about a four year old boy that was born with no legs or arms. The article talked about how the boy TRANSFERS from place to place with no arms and legs. To get around Emmanuel uses all types of RESOURCES around him. When he skateboards or does any other sport he has to makeup his own way to do it. A man named Walter Lam talked with the young boy and his sister about themselves. He said that the Emmanuel had a good heart for someone so young. As Emmanuel gets older he will still SEEK a future for himself even though it might become a little harder. Emmanuel and his family are from Kenya.
Reflection- I think this story is very interesting because not many people are born with no legs and no arms. I also think that it is nice that people try to talk to him and console him to make him feel better about life. I cant imagine how the boy feels to be so young and is not able to do things he sees other young kids do.
Interesting Fact- An interesting fact about this article is that the cause of this boy having no arms and no legs is from a birth defect he suffered when he was born.

This year in the MLB should be a exciting year cindering that tare national baseball teams are playing in Japan which is half way around the world. All of the base ball SEEKING fans should just wait because they will be returning soon. Some RESOURCES of mine has told me that they are playing there league and playing the teams that are down there. The baseball teams TRANSFERRED to three separate planes before they even arrived at home sweet home Japan.
I read today in the news paper that there was a shooting in Plaza Bonita and in Greenwood cemetery. It all could’ve just started in a Lincoln between 2 Latinos and 2 African American that got into an argument says the reporter. Well there were a lot of shootings one in Greenwood Cemetery it doesn’t say much about who the suspects were. Now in the mall they closed up the mall, there was a man hiding inside and he was African American
The *resource* that the police was using was the SWAFT they closed up the mall right and then. The man that was in there was actually *seeking* to put the life's in danger. The 3 man that were arrested were *transferred* to jail and the reporter says that this is serious crime that they are facing. I feel that it was wrong that the man that even shot at other innocent people was hiding inside a public mall. I don’t think that those man should be even out and they should be lock down. I learned that am not safe in the streets or in the mall’s.
REFUGEE AND HIS ORGANZATIOUN HELP. Like many 4 year olds kids are very energetic. This young kid name Emmanuel Otoe that lives in the southern Californian likes tow skate bored. But there is many problems that cant make his life happy or his family happy. One of his big problems his that this kid was born with no feet, has no forearms hands, and calves. This young kid was born and a refugee camp out and the desert. His family is an a big struggle of game tow survive. The un wants tow help this family so a un talked tow the state department tow get this young child and his family out of that refuge camp and move tow San Diego. What I learned about
this article is that the un tried his best with helping this kids family and moved him tow a safer place and San Diego.
VICTIM OF A OFFICER SHOTING CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY
The article I read about was a victim files claim against city. An Oceanside women with two previous dui convictions said yesterday that she wasn’t drunk or high when officer Frank White shot her on the right arm twice and her four year old son once on the left leg. The officer says my have been a road rage incident. She was unarmed. the shooting occurred in the parking lot of Lowes store near rote 76 in Oceanside. Silva filed a claim against the city of San Diego yesterday seeking compensation for physical psychological and economic damages including hospital and medical costs.
Reflection- I think she should sue the city for this incident because there should be no reason a officer shot her and her 4 year old son when the mother was not even armed there should have been another way of tackling this incident
