- The article that I read today was about a COMPLEX subject. It talked about immigration and the IMPACT it has on the US. By the midpoint of this century, America will look much like California does today as it DERIVES into a far more racially and ethnically diverse nation that will CONSIST mostly of immigrants and their offspring. By 2050 whites will lose their majority status, a milestone marked by California nearly a decade ago.
- I think that this is a really interesting article. A RELEVANT factor in this article is the Washington, D.C.- based Pew Research Center. I feel that this will make the immigration debates a lot harder.
- One interesting that I learned is that by 2050 nearly one in five of the projected 438 million Americans is expected to be foreign born, a proportion higher than at any other time in US history.
The TEXT I SUMMARIZED today was about a high school shooting. A 17 year old student had shot another student that was 19, after he shot him he had handed the gun to a coach and SIMPLY said now its over. The shooting had happened during the gym PERIOD class in the school COMPLEX in morning but none of the students were shot or hurt. A SOURCE said that the two students had gotten in an argument during the weekend or last weekend then one took a gun to school. The shooter had gotten charged with attempted first degree murder, reckless endangerment and caring a gun to school. There was another RELEVANT story that happened in another high school in the same area.

►What I read today on the COMPLEX SOURSE, newspaper, was that Sen. Barack Obama sweet the Louisiana primary and caucuses in the REGION of Nebraska and Washington states (that also both were RELEVANT) last night. Also the Illinois senator was DOCUMENTED winner in the Virgin Islands, completing his best night of the campaign. In RELATE to the votes, republican contest yesterday, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee won in Kansas and Louisiana.

The article I read today was about a new a new a SOURCE has been found. The source is a new quarterback who is more RELEVANT to any other quarterbacks. This new guy O Connell is 6-6 a good runner, smart and friendly, and has good ACADEMIC grades. He also knows hoe to move on the field and FUNCTIONS good. Many teams have been looking at him and most of them like what they see. He graduated college from San Diego State but he is still looking for me he can do. Officials say that if he does start the NFL, the draft picks are going to be COMPLEX. If he continues to work on his skills and is dedicated he will be a new NFL superstar.
Reflection- I think that it would be cool to have a chance to be someone big and have people admire your skills. I can imagine hoe the player feels that people like the way he plays football. I can RELATE to how he feels because I can imagine what its like to have fans.
Interesting fact- An interesting fact about this article is that he is one of ten quarter backs that is tall with speed and accuracy.
Today in the union tribune, the COMPLEX SOURCE I read that a cold case was finally solved after 31 years. She lies dead, her face dirty and bruised. She’s half naked, and her ankles are bent in odd ways. The crime scene photograph of the young women was taken 31 years ago was the ISSUE, but it never lost its hold on Bob Conrad, a new Chula vista police detective at the time. Anita Marie Carrier was Conrad's first homicide case, and it hit home, he knew her. When he was a patrol officer, he’d seen her on the streets with her friends. Conrad even identified her body. She was Jane doe because her purse had been stolen. He recognized when her photograph was passed around the police station. For decades the case remained cold, unsolved, but Conrad finally was able to end it last month thanks to luck, science and determination. Police announced Jan 23 that they linked DNA EVIDENCE from the victims fingernails to the longtime suspect, Charles Manly, who died in a Nevada prison in 2001 while awaiting execution for RELEVANT murder.
To SUMMERIZE what I just read was that a women was murdered in Chula and they never found her murderer because he was in another prison for killing someone else. They finally found out it was him because of some DNA under her fingernails and now he's dead for killing someone else in Nevada. Karma’s a bad one.
History
A old building in Balboa park has been repaired so people can enjoy a lovely day at the movie theaters. The COMPLEX movie theater has been restored so it has chandlers, and red velvet seats. A SOURCE says that the spent at least 26.5 million dollars on the repair of the movie theaters. RELEVVANT to this building the movie theater down the street is being destroyed the people who own the theater are going broke. PREVIOUS to this building being restored it was called the cathedral movie theater. The theater now is getting POSTIVE feedback from critics they say that the movie theater brings you back in time. The STRUCTURE of the building showers that the inside is made more modern as if the outside was old. The employees are dressed in a older style a bell boy.
I think that this idea is a good one it shows that the finer things in life can be old as well. This can INVOVLE young kids in to understanding what it was like going to the movies in the 70’s.

Teen shot during class; fellow student arrested
Memphis, Tennessee a fight broke out between two high school students that began off campus and continued at the gym class yesterday the situation became COMPLEX when the student took a gun out and shot the student twice. Then handed the gun to a coach, saying “ it’s over now,” authorities said. The victim, a 19 year old senior was in critical condition at the hospital. The suspected shooter, a 10th grader Corneilous Cheers, 17, was charged with attempted first degree murder, reckless endangerment and carrying a gun on school property. The shooting erupted in the morning gym class being held in a cafeteria. 75 students where present but only the senior was hurt. The school was on lock down foe a couple of hours, and parents where notified by the phone and some parents picked up their children. Memphis high schools have access to metal detectors, but they are not used each day. They are RELEVANT because it was the second shooting in a week at Memphis high school. On feb. 4, a 16 year old student was shot in the leg in a classroom at Hamilton High school during an argument with another student about music.
What is really going on with this world? It’s crazy how people really take to the highest level. One interesting fact that I learned is that now Memphis schools have to have metal detectors.

This morning I have read in the news paper about a marijuana plant harvest found in Poway. It was COMPLEX to find but it appeared to be about 400 plants. They were found by hikers off Old Winery Road. The hikers were hiking near the golf course when they found the plants. The plant is the SOURCE of THC which many people use it to get a high. All the plants have matured to harvest the past fall. It is RELEVANT that the suite was of last years 335,000 plants. The plants would of brought the grower about 800,000 dollars. The plants were also found between many large homes.
=The cops were already jumping into conclusions by estimating the price. They could of grown naturally during a period of time.
=This could affect the community that they were found in (my opinion).
=According to research this issue is not as bad as it was year were there were more plants.
=The plants weight up to 200 pounds.
i was reading a very intersting article in the CNN newspage. The article was about suicide bombings and how they have become popular amongst women. The terrorist operators have now obtained women tp do the job of suicide bombing. it is easier for women to do it since they can pretend to be preagnant to get through some security measure. US officials are trying to figure out how the fake pregnant bellies work in hiding explosives. Also authorities from places that have already been attacked are trying to warn of the behaviors involved in the attacks just so officials can predetermine if there will be an attack.
♥ The article I read about this morning was ILLUSTRATED in the article our region. This morning I read about 3 men that are being charged with quiet a lot of charges. They started off with 5 but 2 of them were innocent. After the police ASSESSED the 5 gentlemen that were first accused of the crime, they questioned every single one of them. That’s when they noticed that 2 of the 5 boys weren’t so EMPHASIZED with the questioning. The victims of the attack could not identify the man who raped one of the girls. She described him as a black male. She thought it was COMPLEX to identify the man. That did not help out the police at all.
♥ My source on the article that I read about this morning is simple. I think that if the lady is going to accuse someone she should at least try to remember his VOICE. I hope that she at least remembers that and who ever raped her gets what he deserved.

Union Tribune: Los Angeles International to get new runway safety system to prevent potential accidents
Today I read about the airport with the most near accidents and runway safety violations in the nation. It will be getting the equivalent of street lights to prevent potential accidents. This new system called runway status light. It will rely on radar technology and red lights on pavement. This will help the pilots know when it is ok to take off. The city paid $6 million for the system and hopes to have it operating by early 2009. It is being tested at the airport in San Diego. For planes that are are about to land or take off the lights will blink if the airport radar detects another aircraft using it. The lights will illuminate if another aircraft will take off. They are saying that it is one more layer of defense. This system has been used in San Diego for some time and it has really helped them be safer. I think that this is a good idea. I think that this way there will be fewer crashes in airports and I don’t know I think that if cars can have lights then they can also light.
