Today in the union tribune, I read a DISTINCT that a universal fixture is disappearing from dorm dining halls; the tray. College cafeteria's nationwide are going to trayless dining in POTENTIAL to reduce waste. The rationale is that students wont load up on large portions of all you can eat settings if they cant slack their dishes on a tray. Although most students are as gluttonous john ‘bluto’ blutarsky, who piled his tray high with cafeteria fare in the movie animal house, dining hall workers tire of seeing students toss untouched sandwiches, salads, and cereal into the trash. It’s the newest FORMULA in greener dining, as college cafeterias from California to Connecticut are looking ways to be more eco-friendly.

=Fatal Car Crash=
Today I have read in the news paper about a car crash in Chula Vista. Daniel Sanchez was fatally injured in the accident. At about 8:30pm the men were drunk driving when they hit a parked car at J Street park. The man 18 years old died at about 9:50 at the Hospital. He was in the back seat and was ejected after the collision, he was not wearing his seat belt. The driver, 23, was not injured and ran away after the accident. He later turned him self in after a couple of hours. Other men in the vehicle were not found after they too ran away. The car was rolled over to its back when the man was thrown out of the car.

=The man that was fatally injured was my friends brother and it is crazy how things happen out of nowhere.

=Drunk driving incidents happen all the time and people still have fun doing it.

=The law should enforce the situation as the sale of alcohol to drivers or something like that.

=The driver and the victim were brothers.

“Amtrak adds spot security as deterrent”
►Today I read in the potential newspaper that the Amtrak team its going to start searching random trains in search for terrorist attacks (bombs), also they are using distinct strategies to look for them bombs, like bomb-sniffing dogs, searching and more. There where some attacks in Madrid on 2004, also in London on 2005, and Mumbai on 2006.
►I agree, and I think that the formula that its going to work the best it’s the bomb-sniffing dogs.
►I also agree because it’s going to protect the citizens.
►I agree because they could save a lot of lives incase of a terrorist attack.
►I think the most interesting fact its that there were a lot of attacks on the previous years.

The article I read today was about Amtrak security guards stepping their game up and the FORMULA they are using to do it.. They have been searching people, and also have bomb sniffing dogs. They are looking for people who are out of the ordinary or who is a threat. They are also equipped with heavy artillery. Some passengers are upset because it causes delays. Security officers say that the delays only last up to a couple of minutes. Ever since terrorist attacks the Amtrak system suggested that they should step their game up. This cause has occurred because of the train bombings in other countries that have occurred killing and injuring a lot of people.
Reflection- I think that it is a good idea that the Amtrak forces has stepped their game up because now we have less POTENTIAL to have a terroist attack. I also don’t think that people should e getting mad about the delays because their life could be in danger. Although I don’t think its that necessary for the securities to be walking around with heavy duty rifles because that would leave a DISTINCT memory on the passengers.
Interesting Fact- An interesting fact about this article is that There has been many bombings in other countries that have killed over 100 people in each one.

Today I read about a suicide car bomber killed 38 afghans at a crowded market they had great POTENTIAL in targeting a Canadian army convoy. The back to back blast in the southern province of Kandahar could be a sign insurgents are mow willing to risk high civilian causalities while attacking security forces. Although their attacks occasionally have killed dozens, militants in Afghanistan have generally sought to avoid targeting civilians unlike insurgents in Iraq war, they have a good FORMULA for that. The bombing make in DISTINCT that Afghanistan could see even more violence this year than 2007. I think that it is crazy how people are living like this, bombing on each other. I wonder when they are going to stop.

♥ The article I read about this morning was about the cactus that are found in the desert in Mexico. The Mexican government has been noticing that a lot of cactus that are found in their deserts are disappearing. Cactus are delicates ball of snowy thread twist. They have twisting cones topped with graceful pink flowers. There natural colors are usually lemon lime that’s why there so easy to be spotted at the desserts in Mexico. They have been disappearing at an increasing rate. The Mexican government POTENTIAL think that most of these cactus are being used to smuggle drugs and guns into the United States. Since there is so many DISTINCT species of cactus, a lot of people use them to fetch hundreds of dollars on black markets from America to Japan.
♥ I think that what who ever is stealing the cactus is hurting the world. I think that people should leave natural things alone and just let them be. I hope that all this stuff about people stealing cactus especially if their using them to be smuggling drugs or anything illegal that there FORMULA might be should really stop and think about the danger their causing to the not just the Mexico country but the world.
♥ An interesting fact that I read in this mornings article was that there is about 684 species of cactus in just Mexico.

The story I read today was about a man that had pulled out a shotgun on a satellite dish installer had threaten him to kill him. Police said that people get mad easily because the company says that there going to be there at at certain time but some installers get lost and that causes the to be late. Some cable companies give there employees a four hour window of the time they are going to be there, now they give them a two hour window.

Union Tribune: Government approves first 'virtual' fence along Arizona-Mexico border
Today I have read a short story on the virtual fence they are making in Arizona. The virtual fence is part of a national plan to secure the border. As of Feb. 8th 295 miles of fencing have been constructed. This system is already working. On Feb 13 a commander noticed that the machine was saying there were 100 people there trying to cross. He went there and they caught 38 out of the ones that were trying to pass the others stayed in Mexico. This towers are equipped with cameras, sensors that are capable to distinguish people form cattle. They can show you how many people there are. If they are carrying backpacks or not. I think that this technology is kind of cool. At least for the border patrol because they can find them easier. It is also good for the immigrants because if they are in trouble and they get close enough to the fence then the border patrol can help them and they can get rescued.
