The story I read today was about a ban on loaded guns in national parks. People were protesting and some were not happy. The park is still allowing guns in the AREA but they are not allowing loaded guns because if it goes of and hits a person. They are arguing that they should have loaded gun because if they need to protect themselves but a retired park superintendent CLARIFYED that they don’t need guns and that they are not appropriate. They also said that it does not DIFFERENTIATE whether they have a gun or not.

- The article that I read today was about the presidential campaign AREA. I read about a new goal that she set up for her self. After struggling for months to dent Sen. Barack Obama’s candidacy, the campaign of Sen. Hilary Clinton is CLARYFYING or releasing what one Clinton aide called a “kitchen sink” fusillade against Obama, pursuing five lines of attack since Saturday in hopes of stopping his political momentum. The effort reflects not only Clinton’s recognition that the next round of primaries in Ohio and Texas on March 4, are must wins for her. After angrily denouncing Obama over the weekend for an anti-Clinton flier about the NAFTA trade treaty, and then sarcastically portraying his message of hope on Sunday as naive, she delivered a speech that DIFFERENTIATED Obama and Bush. - I think that I will not vote for Hilary because of what she has done. I think that she is starting to act immature. She is starting to show her weak side and it will definitely not help her.

Article; “Ex-prison guard sentenced for rape”
Summary; The article I chose to read about this morning was about an ex-prison guard that was sentenced Tuesday for rape in the San Diego AREA. The man’s name is Charles “Chuck” Leroy Crowell and he is going to be serving five years and four months in a California prison. But afterwards, he will be sent to South Dakota where he had been sentenced to 20 years in prison for crimes against the same girl. The victim was only fourteen years old and her names remains anonymous due to the fact that she is a minor. The judge gave him the maximum sentence allowed under California Law. The judge said the girl had been hospitalized for psychological treatment as a result of her ordeal. Although his public defender says that he does take full responsibility for his actions, it does not make the crime any less serious. He has to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. The judge asked Charles to CLARiFY what happened that day and he said that he flew down to San Diego to meet the girl. He checked into a motel where she had agreed to meet him. He says that it had never occurred to him that she was underage. But people criticize that he should have been able to DiFFERENTiATE a young girl and a woman.
Reflection; Looking at this guy Charlie’s face in the Union Tribune disturbs me. I don’t get how these old, nasty, perverts want to get away with raping the youth. I just hope he is honestly sorry for his actions.
“valley view casino rolling dice: A hotel free for biggest gabblers”
►I read today on the main AREA of the newspaper today was that it was CLARIFY that you won’t be able to pay and stay at the rooms of the hotel the Valley View Casino plans to build this year. You also could DIFFERENTIATE all the rooms, and all the rooms in the 12-story, $85 millions building would be reserved as perks for the casino’s biggest gamblers. Also they were giving away hotels rooms to high rollers is an old idea, but experts couldn’t think of another hotel that has taken it as far Valley View Casino is proposing.

Today in the union tribune, I read that you know your in a different kind of college when a teaching assistant sets five marijuana plants down in the middle of a lab and no one blinks and eyelid. Welcome to Oaksterdam university, a new trade school where higher school education takes on a whole new meaning. The school prepares people for jobs in California's thriving medical marijuana industry. For $200 and the cost of two required textbooks, students learn how to cultivate and cook with cannabis, study which strains of pot are best for certain ailments, and are instructed in the legalities of a business that is against the law in the eyes of the government. My basic idea is to try to professionalize the industry and have taken it seriously as a real industry, just like a beer company and distilling hard alcohol, said Richard Lee, 45, an activist and pot dispensary owner who founded the school in a downtown store front last fall. So far, 60 students have completed the two-day weekend course, which sold out through may. The article I read today was about how be can see the DIFFERENCIATE in gas prices. Gas prices have been raised by 6 cents since last month. Many people are afraid that the raise of 6 cents a month will continue to happen. Many people also are afraid of gas prices being to unaffordable. Many test were ran to see the percentage of the price of gas going up, and this year looks like it would be the biggest raise. Reasons why gas prices are going are going up is mainly because of the war going on. Many people think that is the war was to stop gas prices will decrease.
Reflection- I think that raising of gas prices sucks but its happening for a reason. I'm not sure if the gas prices were low if it would effect the economy. I think it would be a good idea to end the war so our gas prices will decrease.

Today I read about South Africa said that it will start killing elephants to reduce their burgeoning numbers ending a 13 year ban and possibly setting a precedent for other African nations. The article I read today was about south Korea president lee myung-bak pledge to revive south Koreas economy to try to get along with the united states and draw north Korea out of its isolation. North Korea strained its alliance with Washington. Lee, 66 was a former mayor of Seoul and a construction industry executive before becoming president.
Reflection- my opinion is I would not trust Korea for what happened in the past..

Reefs
Scientists have been researching the effects of human activities on coral reefs. In order to determine the changes that have occurred they needed to find a coral reef that has not been affected, a reef that was clean and pure. In order to find one they only needed to travel 1,000 miles south of Hawaii. The AREA they decided to study was in the Line Islands. They compared the data taken from the uninhabited Kingman Island and that of the more heavily populated area of Kiritimati. The data when compared created a necessity for more consciousness toward pollution. It is necessary to be more careful regarding our waste and how we use our resources. It is important to CLARIFY that the Kiritimati reef can be improved over time but the damage done to it is very vast. In order to DIFFERIENTATE what a healthy and unhealthy reef looked liked the scientists took samples of specimens living there and compared them to one another. They discovered that the content of bacteria in the water also affect the damage done to a coral reef. Now what they are trying to figure out is what is the link between bacteria and the damage done to a coral reef.
♥ The article I read about this morning was about was RELATED to the gas prices in the AREA of San Diego County. The prices went up 5 percent in the last week. A gallon of gas is now $3.35. The PREViOUS week month a gallon of gas cost only about $3.058. From the whole REGiON, San Diego County is getting surged towards record highs. San Diego could exceed its record of $3.50 per gallon. If this current trajectory keeps going the next 9 days the price will we could exceed the record. Severin Borenstein, an Economist of the University of California Berkeley said that he won’t be surprised if the prices raise up to $4.00 a gallon.
♥ I think that the county in which I live in should CLARIFY that they are exaggerating in raising the gas prices a little to much. I hope that they start to notice the DIFFERIANTE that the gas prices in San Diego County are to exaggerating high.
♥ An interesting fact that I read in this article was that the county average price for unleaded regular gasoline is $3.35.

Union Tribune: Choking accusations bogus, suspended soccer coach says.
Today I have read an article on a Coach that apparently choked a minor. San Ysidro High School’s suspended soccer coach said that he was falsely accused of choking an Otay Ranch High player during a game last week. Eduardo Jimenez said that any contact with the player was the result of a split second decision to prevent a fight. Jimenez was taken off the filed at Otay Ranch High in handcuffs Friday and held in jail until Tuesday. He was released without being charged. Chula Vista Police are still investigating the incident. It all started because a player from Otay Ranch kicked two of his players and they were going to start fighting. He got in between them to avoid the fight. He said that he did not choke, push or grab the student. A student said that his coach did not do anything, he only put his hand on the boys chest to keep them apart. Well I think that they should let this incident go because it is ridiculous. I think that even if he had been choking the boy he deserved it for messing around and starting some drama.
