Today in the union tribune, I read that a three car-to-car shootings in san Diego county in 12 days don’t appear to be connected, but they unnerved motorists, snarled traffic and left two families without their teenage sons. Funeral services were held yesterday for Brandon Nicolas Johnson, 16 of lemon grove and donnel Eric Davis jr., 15 of san Diego. The teens were killed in a freeway shooting on march 16 in Bonita. Hundreds of people attended the services at bayview Baptist church. Gunfire on the road way is rarely random, authorities said, it usually stems from road rage, and some victims are targeted. Sheriff’s investigators suspect the teens killed in Bonita were fatally shot simply because they were in an area claimed by a gang.
3 car to car shootings.
Three car to car shootings in san Diego. The san Diego police doesn't expect that these are gang related. The police thinks that it was a drug related. These young child war coming from a bowling ale and the car got shoot don’t know why but it did.
6 years old and already fighting
Cage fighting is being excepted into are young kids minds. T the ages of 6 years old kids are beginning to fight and sprawl as if they were intimating there favorite cage fighter. Some people have TRANSFERRED there kids into boxing and jujitsu schools so they can learn how to fight instead of picking up books. A club for fighting are SEEKING 6 years old to be fighting with other 6 years old. Unrelated RESOURCES say they call them human cockfighting. This is not only happening in the U.S. but in china this has swept the country the children make money for there families by fighting other people that are the same age as them the people feel that this is a sign of respect.
I think that this is probably scary for the kids that fight but they probably feel as if they are making the money for there families instead of working all day in the fields make hardly any money. Although kids in the U.S. are doing it for fun the kids around the world are doing it for there families. Some take there cage fighting very serious. Although people in the U.S. have better training facilities the other people do because they need to survive.
YOUNG FANS WANTING TO CAGE FIGHT
The article that I read this morning was about cage fighting is founded in young fans nationwide. 50 Chula vista cents members are under 18 and they are all in cage fighting. It’s the newest sport on the block for young people are seeking. Its based on the wildly popular Ultimate Fighting Championship “UFC”. Its not quite fight club but its close to it. Trading centers across the country are enrolling more teens and preteens in classes that teach the sport and fighters as young as 6 are engaging in bare knuckle brawls in backyards and converted garages any resources they can find to practice in. At least 50 of the centers 700 members are younger then 18 and are in mixed-martial-arts as the youngest is 5 years old.
Reflection- I think that it’s a good thing more and more people are getting more and more in to the sport also its good that kids are getting in to something that they like because I know if I was a kid I would play a sport that I relay like and this also makes the kids in shape then letting sit at home eating junk food and getting fat now they have to watch what they eat.
Interesting Fact- Kids as young as 5 years old are cage fighting now that pretty cool if u ask me
Cage-fight crazy finds young fans nationwide
The newest sport rising for young people is cage fighting. It is based on the wildly populated Ultimate Fighting Championship series. Training centers across the country are enrolling more teens and preteens in classes that teach the sport. Fighters as young as 6 are in engaged in bare-knuckle brawls in backyards and converted garages. Cage fight is also known as “human cockfighting”. Cage fighting is slowly being accepted into the mainstream of sports. There is some worries that the sport is too violent for young people but then other say it promotes fitness and discipline. Last year UFC Heavy Weight Brandon Vera opened the Alliance Training Center in Chula Vista.
I believe that cage fighting will show discipline and fitness but also some self-control. That is good that they are providing something for youths that would interest them. This will young kids off the streets.
Amateur fights are unregulated in dozens of states, including California.
AMPUTEE GOING BACK TO BATTLE....
The article I read today was about a man with an amputated leg going back to war. The mans name is Cpl.Garret Jones. He had lost his leg in an ambush by running into a grenade on the floor. He had been saved by another friend, that thought that he wouldn’t survive, but he luckily made it. If it wasn’t for Jones RESOURCES he would have been dead today. Jones now has a prostatic leg and is still SEEKING to go back to war in the same spot he lost his leg. Even though his legs are not the same he has no problems TRANSFERING to one spot to another. His leg stops all the way above his knees.
Reflection- I think that Jones is a very brave person to go back to war. Many of the troops thought that he would quit but he decided that he wouldn’t and would just take another job. If it had been me in his situation I think that I just would have stopped working and took my break. I also think that it takes a lot of heart and courage to stay doing your job, and you have to be dedicated to the work you do, even if you don’t like it as much.
Interesting Fact- An interesting fact about this article is that Mr. Jones still wants to go back to the military even thought he has a prosthetic leg.
The story I read today was about young people that like the sport of MMA and they are getting into it. In Chula Vista there is a gym called Alliance Training Center that has about 700 hundred members 50 of those are students under the age of 18. The owner of the gym name is Brandon Vera he said that it was a great place for students and that you get to punch kick hit people all in the sport and that it also keeps kids out of trouble and out of drugs. In Missouri they allow fights between youths but that appears to be only there and not in other states. In Oklahoma boxing officials say that the sport is to violent for young people and that it can hurt them or even worse. Unauthorized fights can fetch penalties of 30 days in and a $1,000 fine. Armando Garcia is an executive officer of the California State Athletic Commission and he worries that too may mixed martial arts athletes cut corners in training and sign up for smokers contest in which amateur fighters some in their teens face off in unsanctioned fights.
The article I read today is about cpl. Garret Jones was on a foot patrol in Karmah, Iraq despite being thrown forward, he pushed himself of the ground and rushed toward the site of the screams there was a ditch and Jones was badly hurt, and gasped for air. Pofahl was his only RESOURCE helped pull Jones out and tied a tourniquet around his left leg which was mostly gone from the knee down. Recalling the July 23 ambush. All of them in the unit thought he would leave the military. Yesterday Jones completed his rehabilitation program at the SDNMC and prepared to deploy, this time to Afghanistan he will SEEK a honor for coming back to Afghanistan. He is going to TRANSFER in about a week for a seventh month combat tour with Pofahl and other marines from his old rank.
I think that he should stay out of the marines.
I think that he should just stay home and work it out.
You got to be brave to back.
My opinion is he should just stay home.
♥ The article I read about this morning was about a replacement in uneven sidewalks in the San Diego County. The city needs to built RESOURCE for the sidewalks of San Diego. It is really difficult for the people in San Diego who are handicap because there are a lot of uneven sidewalks. People TRANSFER from these sidewalks all the time for whatever reason. People are SEEKING for the city to start replacing the sidewalks but they keep hearing that it is going to talk years for the sidewalks to get replaced. A two year wait is what the people are being told to replace the sidewalks. The only thing that the people that were suppose to be fixing the sidewalks was that they were leaving a orange cone and spray painting the walkway. They were also just putting patches so that people wouldn’t trip.
♥ I think that the city needs to start doing things and stop being lazy. A lot of people have needs on the sidewalks especially handicap people or blind people or what so ever. I hope that the city starts doing their job because if they don’t there’s going to be a lot of problems.
♥ An interesting fact that I read about in the article was that the average wait for sidewalk replacement is two years.
