Remeber when Crack cocaine

Crack convicts are getting out today on the behalf of judges reducing sentence to about three years. Some people in the AREA that the convicts are getting out does not want them to be realsesed. The Judge INDICATED that the three men were ESTABLISHED and changed men. The three men want to pick there lives up and do something while they still have a chance to do it. This does not JUSTIFY letting them get out early in the next year. I think that the judge should let them finish out there sentence in court. If the men are changed then they should have know problem finishing 5-6 years in prison then 2 years in rehab. The should be understanding that Criminals type of thinking is unacceptable in the way we run are society.

I Also felt that if the judges lets them out who knows if the people in the town that this is taking place will accept them coming in knowing that the people are sicking and bad. Some people feel as if the court system is basing it off cocaine powder and crack rocks which should be taken as the same thing.

“consumers are fighting back against hidden fees”
►I read today in the newspaper that U.S. consumers are INDICATING the fighting against hidden tax that drive up the cost of everything from phones service for U.S. consumers and making truth in billing little more than a hollow promise. some hotels ESTABLISH automatic towel, bellman and groundskeeping fees. Air lines charge up to $25 to check an extra bag. Want to terminate your cell phone service? Don't be surprised by a $200 cancellation fee.
►I agree that consumers fight back to the hidden fees.
►I also agree because that’s our money and they are taking it away by fees.
►In the other hand that’s how business make their extra money.
►I think the most interesting fact is that the business JUSTIFY the hidden fees as services.

Today in the union tribune, I read that hidden fees and surcharges that drive up the cost of everything from phone service to concert tickets are spreading like a wildfire, creating a nuisance for U.S. consumers and making truth in billing more than a hollow promise. Some hotels impose automatic towel, bellman and grounds keeping fees. Airlines charge up to $25 to check an extra bag. Want to terminate your cell phone service? Don’t be surprised by a JUSTIFIED $200 cancelation fee. Many of the charges are undisclosed, buried in contact fine print or listed as an unclear line item on a bill. While costly fees get our blood boiling, the smaller ones have turned the marketplace into a minefield of a nickel-and-dime charges. These smaller fees typically INDICATED from less than $1 to roughly $10, depending on the goods or services involved. For years, consumers ignored them because they were relatively small and weren’t worth the hassle to fight. But multiply those small amounts by millions of customers and they ESTABLISH a multibillion-dollar corporate windfall. A 2006 study by the ponemon institute, an independent business research firm, found that the average adult pays about $722 each year in hidden fees and surcharges. The survey also noted that consumers pay about an extra $200 a year if they fail to use loyalty cards at grocery stores. The study’s results are featured in a new book, gotcha capitalism, by consumer advocate Bob Sullivan, who called the fees the fastest growing white collar crime in America, even bigger than identity theft. After years of being squeezed, customers are fighting back. Just calling to complain satisfies many people.

I read today in the news paper that 2 citizens were deported last year.
The two immigrants indicate that they were deported and now suing the Homeland security and Los Angeles County Sherriff’s department. The main reason why Mr. Guzman and his mother is now suing them, is because he ate out of the trash can for 3 months and also bathed in rivers and canals.
Mr. Guzman says that it was there fault that he was lost. It was unfair for him and his love ones to be taking out like that. The Homeland Security establish that, is there job to do what there suppose to do. But they still don’t justify what they did to him. So now both of the immigrants are suing for their rights that they have and had but they took the away from them.
I think that its unfair for people that were born in Mexico and grew up in the United States to be taking out of here just like that. Some worked so hard to be here and they get so far but with a blink of an eye there gone. Every body deserves to be where they want to be at, some people are rich some are poor but just because they don’t have money don’t mean anything. The most important fact of this article is about immigrants they have the right to be here.

SAME SEX MARRIAGE ON COURT DOCKET..

The article I read today was about the issue of same sex marriage on court docket. As the court talked about gay marriage there was many strong feelings on both sides. Many people thought that the law should stay not passed and others think that a change needs to occur. It has already been JUSTIFIED that at this time gay marriage is illegal. Although some officials INDICATED that in some states there are 90,000 same sex couples. Massachusetts is the only state that has legalized same sex marriage. Same sex marriage will be a big step to California. Many people also wonder if this gets ESTABLISHED how will people act toward this decision.
Reflection-I think that it is cool that they are thinking about changing the law for gays but I don’t think they should. I personally don’t believe in same sex marriage so I would say don’t approve of it. I disagree because the way I was brought up, and personal beliefs. I think if same sex was to be approved then how would non gays act toward them.
Interesting Fact- An interesting fact about this article is that Massachusetts is the only state that has approved of gay marriage.

♥The article I read about this morning was about a family that was murdered in Texas. A mother and two children were killed in their own home in a East Texas ranch. Four people including 3 teenagers and an adult are being charged for the crime. The father and husband of the children and woman that got killed survived but he is in critical condition. The father and loving husband was still at the hospital on Saturday in critical condition with a gunshot wound. The county sheriff, by the name of, David Taylor ESTABLISHED that the family had a teenage daughter as well. Taylor said that there is no way he can INDICATE where that daughter is to be found. The 3 teens and the adult are being charged with murder.
♥My reflection on this article is surprising. I am glad that the father is still alive so that he can JUSTIFY what happened and who if they need any more evidence. You never know how your going o die and or when its really sad and scary to even imagine it.
♥An interesting fact that I read in the article was that the woman was 39 years old and her sons of ages 8 and 13.

Today I read that the California Supreme court convenes Tuesday for an extraordinary, three-hour session on the most contentious issue the high court has confronted in years, weather same-sex couples should be allowed to legally marry. It is an issue charged with emotion and strong feelings on all sides, stirring up the kind of passion courts see in cases involving abortion or the death penalty. They INDICATE that the court’s final ruling, expected in June, will not only affect the state’s 90,000 same-sex marriage, but a state as large and powerful as California could set the tone for efforts to change marriage laws in other states and reverse a losing trend for same-sex-marriage. They JUSTIFY that with a win at the California Supreme court, the landscape will shift in a way that is lasting and enduring. The California law that limits marriage to heterosexual couples is being challenged, ESTABLISHED by 15 same-sex couples as well as the city of San Francisco and a gay rights group, who argue that the ban is unconstitutional discrimination. I think that the California Supreme Court should let same-sex couples get married. It’s not fair that they are not allowed to get married, love is really powerful and you should be able to love whoever you want to.

This article was about President bush trying stop the illegal sales of prescription drugs. It indicates that 10 percent of youth drugs were cut down and a fewer young people are using drugs that in 2001. Bush says that the internet has brought benefits for the people who cant get to a pharmacy in person. They are trying to prevent people from getting them. So now they want the patients to meet the doctor in person before they prescribe the medication. John Walters said that the government is no focusing its supply, demand and prevention policies. Walters mentioned cases of internet pharmacies often don’t require prescriptions to be faxed. Bush said that the youth drug abuse has dropped 24 percent.
I think that it really doesn’t matter. I say because I don’t care about situations like this. But I guess it would make a difference if they do end up doing that.
I learned that you can order medications over the internet.

Union Tribune: Obama thrashes rivals in S.C.
Today I have read a short article on Barack Obama and how he won a victory against Hilary Clinton in South Carolina. Now he is tied with Hilary Clinton which has also won on two other early voting states. Senator John Edwards a native of South Carolina who was seeking to revive his candidacy finished third but vowed to keep his campaign alive. He has not won on a state so far. Obama finished with 55 percent of the votes, Clinton had 27 and Edwards 18 percent. When Obama took the stage people were chanting that race doesn’t matter. They really like him. People are saying that they are not against Clinton but that Obama is making History. Shortly after the votes closed Clinton flew to Tennessee to hold a campaign rally. Clinton said that she intends to focus on Florida because it has been striped of its democratic convention. I would like for Hilary Clinton to win because she is a woman and she is pretty. I think that right now it is really tough to say who is going to win because they are so tied. If Obama wins that would also be good because I think that we need a drastic change in our government and he will do this for us.

article; consumers are fighting
back against hidden fees.

summary; This morning's article was based on consumers choosing fight back against hidden fees. Hidden fee and surcharges that drive up the cost of everything from phone service to concert tickets are spreading like a wildfire says Tony Pugh of the Union Tribune. For example, airlines are now charging up to $25 to check an extra bag. Another example, cell phone companies are charging at least $250 if you want to terminate your service. For years, consumers have been ignoring the fees becuase they were relatively small and weren't worth the hassle. But those small amounts are slowly multiplying now becoming a multibillion dollar cororate windfall. It also talked about a study that went on in 2006 by the Ponemon Institute. The study found that the average adult pays about $722 each year in hidden fees and srcharges. The survey also noted consumers pay about an extra $200 a year if they fail to use loyalty cards at grocery stores. The study's results are featured in a new book, "Gotcha Capitalism," by a consumers advocate Bob Sullivan.

reflection; It's cool that these facts are finally being put out for the public. Becuase some people do not pay enough attention, like myself. I'm glad consumers are finally stepping up and fighting back.

interesting fact;Average person pays $722 a year in hidden fees and surcharges.
