RACE ARRIVES AS DEMOCRATIC CAMPAIGHN ISSUE...
The article I read today was about the race between Obama and Clinton. Barrack Obama is in the lead so far. Hilary Clinton is beginning to sweat time Barrack Obama has been on top of his game winning elections. He also has been winning over a lot of votes over. Hilary is still doing pretty good, but she is behind Obama. Many people think that Hilary should be winning by a lot, but she isn't. Both of theses candidates are discriminated which makes this an interesting campaign. If Barack Obama continues with this PROCESS he has a chance of winning.
Reflection- I think Obama is doing better than everyone thought he would. I'm sure the racist RESPONDS to this as ager and hate. In my own opinion I think that Obama will fit real good for the spot.
Interesting Fact- An interesting fact about this article is that many people ASSUME that Clinton will be in the lead by now.
“EPA widens U.S. attack on dirty air”
►I read today in the newspaper that the they ASSUME the air on hundreds of counties of U.S., including San Diego, is too dirty to breath, the government, ordering a PROCESS of multibillion-dollar expansion of efforts to clean up smog in cities and towns nationwide. Also the Environmental Protection Agency announced it was tightening the amount of ozone, commonly known as smog, that will be allowed in the air. But the lower standard falls short of what most health experts say is needed to significantly reduce heart and asthma attacks from breathing smog-clogged air.
►I don’t agree because all this is hurting us, and we got to RESPOND by being more clean.
►I also don’t agree because most of the humans that live on U.S. are the ones doing this with cars and other stuff.
►I don’t agree because in one point we wont be able to breath that air.
►I think the most interesting fact is that the air is going to be poisonous at one point.
The article I read today was about last World war 1 veteran died yesterday at age 110 president Nicolas Sarkozy announced it in a statement. Legionnaire, lazare ponticelli, was French nationality in 1921, fought in the 1914-18 war against Germany that killed 1.4 million French soldiers. Lazare and his fellow soldiers set off for a summer, should have been the war to end all wars they fought for 52 months Starkozy said. France will give ponticelli a state funeral intended as a tribute to all world war 1 soldiers.
My opinion is that he lived a long life.
In the article I read today was about 1 in 4 U.S. teenage girls have an STD. the statistics are shocking, but not nearly as shocking, as the conclusion that “some doctors said the numbers might be a reflection of abstinence-only sex education.” I ASSUME that now parents are not really strict on what their kids watch on television. One interesting fact I learned sexually transmitted diseases among teens was extremely rare in the ’40s and ’50s, when “abstinence only” was the only sex education. The RESPOND was that maybe back in the day society did not glorify sex as it does now. I will PROCEED to stay abstinent.
A mom and her children are at hospitalized in a Dallas hospital after mom threw her children and then jumped herself off the freeway overpass. The conditions that led the mom to throw her children and jump off the overpass are unknown. The only thing officials know is that all three were in a car with the children’s dad at a gas station before the woman decided to walk away with her children and leave the man at the gas station. It was not like the mother was fleeing for safety it just so happened that she decided to throw herself and the children to the freeway. Police ASSUME that the woman might have had a dispute with the children’s father but they are not being specific. Both the children and the mother were able to RESPOND to question by police officers but they will give no further detail. The mother is in the PROCESS of being prosecuted with attempted capital murder. So up until now she has not been arrested or charged with anything until they know the reasons why she jumped. The good news is that they are all safe and that they did not cause car accidents in the freeway.
Today I read that yesterday on March 12,2008 there was a guy that was sentence to 11 years in prison. The reason why he got sentence was because he assaulted a man in San Marcos. In 2001 Jerome Bates was charged with vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated with alcohol. After serving 5 years he was able to parolee and he got out. The victims mother told Mr. Bates that she only had one thing left from her son which is a hospital sheet full of blood. Mr. Bates *assumes* that he is just going to do his time and he’ll be out. The *process* with the parolee for him now, he will have to serve 80% of his time. The community was shocked they *respond* differently when bad things happen. I think that its unfair when innocent life’s are taking away. Such as murder they should be kept in prison if they have enough D.N.A. evidence. I also think that if your going to kill some body you should not be able for parolee.
♥The article I read about this morning was about the capture of cartel leader. On Tuesday night a man by the name of Gustavo Rivera Martinez was taken into custody. The reason for his detainment is because the Mexican authorities ASSUME that he is one of the top cartel leaders in San Diego. The RESPONSE of the Mexican authorities was that they were going to report Rivera into the United States. The PROCESS of this man doesn’t look nice he has a lot of charges for smuggling illegal drugs into the United States. Rivera Martinez was captured on Tuesday night in the Baja California Sur. Genaro Garcia Luna, who is Mexico’s secretary of public safety said he saw Rivera’s picture on the top U.S. drug Enforcement Administration. Rivera is an early member of the Arellano Felix gang.
♥I think that what the Mexican authorities is great. I have a lot of family in Mexico and I really hope that they are safe but now that the authorities are finally doing something about the drug cartel leaders or members is good. Now people could start feeling safer and more secure.
♥An interesting fact that I read about in this article was that Francisco Javier Arellano Felix is facing a life sentence in a U.S. federal prison.
